4 to 5 Years Old

We have two Grade RR’s, the Red Group and Yellow Group, with a qualified teacher and an intern in each class.

The Grade RR’s have three teacher directed activities per day which take the form of singing, movement, drama, discussion, stories and lots more. Our Grade RR's also follow a skills based programme that prepares them for the challenges of Grade R.

The Grade RR teachers concentrate on physical development, social and emotional development, creative thinking and maths, as well as language development. The lessons are designed to be fun and interactive for the children.

More formal activities are introduced in the form of table top activities, and children are encouraged to begin learning independence and responsibility.
